All you need to know

I see school photo day is coming. Do I have to commit to buying anything?

Not at all! Here's how it works: I take the photos first. Then, shortly after, you'll receive a link to an online gallery to view the proofs. You can decide if you love them. If you do, you can purchase the package combination that fits your family. If not, that's totally fine - no obligation whatsoever.

How will I be able to view and order my child's photo?

Your child's school photo will be ready in 2-3 weeks. You'll receive an email with the secure link to a private online gallery where you can view the photos. From there, you'll be able to build your own package with digitals, prints, or wall art directly through the gallery, with just a few clicks.

Can I split the custom package between two poses/images or more images, if I have more than one kid or siblings photos?

Nope, sorry - The "create your own package" is for the one single pose/image. I have it that way to keep costs low and affordable for everyone. If you have more than one kid and siblings photographed, you can build one pose package with the download and a print or two of different sizes to reach the minimum $50 per pose, and different products for the packages for the other poses.

Example: You have 2 kids photographed individually and together = 3 poses =3 packages

Package child 1 pose: the digital + 2- 5x7's prints OR 2- 8x10's +1 5x7 prints OR a wood framed print

Package child 2 pose: the digital + 2- 5x7's OR a mounted print + 1- 8x10 print + metal print

Package sibling shot: one 8x10 canvas OR the digital and an 11x14 print OR one 8x8 metal print

What if I don't want my child's photo taken?

No problem at all. Just let your school know your preference, and we'll make sure your child is not included in the school photo day photography.

What should my kid wear?

For school portrait sessions, it's best to skip hoodies, flesh-toned tops, and bold graphic prints-they don't photograph well. Children always look great in simple comfortable outfits. If you'd like something a bit more special, choose tops with interesting collars, textured fabrics, lace, or gathered sleeves. But remember- the star is your child, not the outfit.

What if my child makes weird faces or is too shy in front of the camera?

I never ask kids to say "cheese" or pose in a forced way. Some laugh at my silly jokes and sounds, other stay more serious -both poses are wonderful.
